Refund policy
The House builds each piece to the Six Standard. If a piece does not meet it, we make it right. This policy sets out how, and is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
Exchange and return window
You may return or exchange a piece within 7 days of delivery, subject to availability. The piece must be unworn, unwashed, with its tags and original packaging intact, and must not be a made-to-measure piece or one whose original packaging has been removed.
Damaged, defective, or wrong piece
If a piece arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, report it within 24 hours of delivery to updates@thehouseof6.com with your order number and a photograph. For a manufacturing defect that appears later, write to us within 3 days of delivery. We replace the piece or, where a replacement is unavailable, refund it in full.
Pieces that cannot be returned or replaced
Pieces that have been worn, washed, altered, or made to measure.
Pieces returned without their tags or original packaging.
For hygiene, accessories, sunglasses, perfumes, masks, and innerwear.
How to begin
Initiate return from orders page for order number that you would like to return. We confirm eligibility and arrange a reverse pickup. Keep the piece ready in its original, sealed-condition packaging. You may refuse a parcel that arrives damaged or tampered and tell us in writing.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned piece, we issue the refund within 5–7 business days. Prepaid orders are refunded to the original payment method; cash-on-delivery orders are refunded by bank or UPI transfer to the account you provide (COD Fee is non-refunable). The time it then takes to reach you depends on your bank. A reverse-shipment fee of up to Rs 100 may be deducted in the case of excessive returns.
Retired pieces
A piece that has been retired is not restocked. Where an exchange size is unavailable, we refund instead.
