Terms of service

These terms govern your use of thehouseof6.com and any purchase you make from The House of 6, operated by Label Absan Private Limited (CIN : U47711UP2025PTC226277, GSTIN : 09AAGCL3541C1ZR), registered at Label Absan, Kaushambi, KB Block, 201010 Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India ("the House", "we", "us"). By using the store or placing an order, you accept these terms. Please read them with our Privacy Policy before you order.

Use of the store

You may use the store only to make legitimate enquiries or orders. You will not place speculative, false, or fraudulent orders; if we reasonably believe an order is such, we may cancel it and inform the relevant authorities. You agree to provide accurate contact, billing, and delivery details, and accept that we may use them to contact you about your order. By ordering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and able to enter a binding contract.

Orders and acceptance

An order is an offer to purchase. A contract forms only when we confirm dispatch. All orders are subject to availability. Where a piece is unavailable or out of stock, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid in full to your original payment method.

Refusal of an order

We may withdraw a piece from the store at any time and may decline or cancel an order even after an order confirmation has been sent. We will not be liable for withdrawing a piece or for declining an order, beyond refunding any amount paid.

Your right to cancel

You may cancel an order at any time before dispatch by writing to updates@thehouseof6.com. You will receive a full refund to your original payment method. After dispatch, an order cannot be cancelled; the Returns and Exchange Policy then applies. The right to cancel applies to pieces returned in the same condition in which they were received, with all packaging and documents. Made-to-measure pieces and pieces whose original packaging has been removed cannot be cancelled once dispatched.

Pricing and payment

All prices are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable GST. The price shown at the time of order applies. The House does not discount; there are no sale prices, coupons, or promotional reductions. We accept prepaid payment (net banking, debit and credit cards, and UPI) and, where offered, cash on delivery. We do not store your card details; payment is captured by our payment partner. If a pricing error is discovered, we will tell you and let you reconfirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund; we are not obliged to honour an obvious typographical error.

Delivery

We aim to deliver by the estimate shown at checkout. Delivery may be delayed by circumstances outside our control, by your pincode falling outside our network, or by similar reasons. Full delivery terms are set out in the Shipping Policy.

Failed delivery

If a delivery cannot be completed after repeated attempts by our carrier, the order returns to us, and we contact you to re-dispatch or refund. For a prepaid order returned after the delivery was verified by one-time password, the original delivery charge, if any, is not refunded.

Risk and title

Each piece is sealed before it leaves the workshop. You may refuse a parcel that arrives damaged, tampered, open, or soiled, and should tell us in writing at updates@thehouseof6.com; we will then re-dispatch or refund a prepaid order. Once you accept a parcel in sound condition, risk passes to you. Title passes to you on full payment or delivery, whichever is later.

Manufacturing defects

For a manufacturing defect, write to us within 3 days of delivery. Claims after this period are considered case by case.

Liability

Our liability for any piece is limited to its purchase price. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that may not be limited by law, and nothing limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, business, profits, data, or time.

Intellectual property

All content on the store — text, photography, marks, and the name The House of 6 — and all related intellectual property belong to the House or its licensors and may not be used without written permission, except to make a copy of your own order or contract details.

Communications and notices

You accept that communication with us is mainly electronic. Notices we provide by email or by posting on the store satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing. Notices to us should be sent through our contact form or to updates@thehouseof6.com.

Transfer, force majeure, severability

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under a contract without our written consent; we may transfer ours. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including strikes, civil unrest, natural disaster, epidemic, or failure of transport or telecommunications; performance is suspended for the duration of such an event. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in force.

Variation and entire agreement

We may amend these terms from time to time; the terms in force when you order apply to that order. These terms, with the documents they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us and supersede any prior arrangement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
